Buyer agrees not to have this kitten/cat de-clawed. Breach of this will void all health guarantees. Buyer agrees that this kitten/cat is to be an indoor cat and not allowed to roam outdoors unsupervised. Buyer agrees to provide adequate veterinary care for the kitten/cat during its lifetime. Buyer agrees to feed this kitten/cat the diet recommended by Meridian Cattery for a period no less than 3 weeks and that the kitten/cat will be adjusted slowly over this 3 week period to it's new diet, if there is to be a change. Buyer agrees not to vaccinate this kitten/cat for FIP or FIV. Breach of this will void all health guarantees. This kitten has had all of its kitten booster vaccinations, excluding rabies and is not to be re-vaccinated under any circumstances. Buyer agrees that failure to adhere to this will result in all health guarantees being null and void. This protocol is not recommended by us. Buyer agrees not to re-sell, give away, lease, loan, rent or abandon this kitten/cat. If this kitten can no longer be cared for by the buyer, Meridian Cattery regains full rights to ownership and the kitten/cat is to be returned to us, without protest. This is in effect for the lifetime of the kitten/cat. Any permanent re-homing of this kitten/cat must be approved by Meridian Cattery. Meridian Cattery agrees to provide TICA registration papers within 30 days for this kitten/cat upon proof of proper spaying/neutering. This kitten must be spayed/neutered NLT :______________________ Initial here:______ If kitten/cat is purchased with breeding rights, TICA registration papers will be provided upon transfer of kitten/cat or as soon thereafter as possible. Meridian Cattery believes that the kitten/cat you are purchasing is healthy and free of any genetic abnormalities. This agreement signed by us serves as our guarantee of the health of your kitten at the time of purchase. Your kitten is guaranteed against genetic defects for the period of five years from the date of birth. Should a licensed Veterinarian determine the kitten is unfit due to a genetic fault during the first five years of it’s life, Buyer, may return the kitten to Meridian Cattery and a replacement kitten of equal value will be offered as soon as available. All veterinarian fees incurred prior to returning the cat are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. No Cash Refunds. Buyer agrees to take this kitten/cat to the Veterinarian of their choice within 72 hours of transfer for a routine health exam. Should your Veterinarian find any pre-existing condition deemed life threatening, you may at your option return the kitten to us for a full refund of your purchase price, or select a different kitten of equal value when available. Buyer agrees to keep this kitten/cat isolated from all other animals prior to the Veterinarian health exam. Failure to adhere to this will void the refund guarantee. Initial here: _______ About Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable. The deposit placed on this kitten/cat ensures that the kitten you have chosen will not be offered to another interested party. Should you change your mind about the kitten prior to the transfer date, you may elect to cancel this agreement without further obligation, however your deposit will be forfeited. Meridian Cattery reserves the right to void this agreement and refund a deposit at anytime prior to transfer of the kitten/cat if it is determined by us that the kitten/cat will be subjected to an unsuitable home. SPAY NEUTER AGREEMENT Buyer agrees to have this kitten/cat neutered no later than the age of 6 (six) months. Initial here: _______ The kitten described above has been purchased as a pet and will not be used for breeding purposes under any circumstances without the express written consent of Meridian Cattery. If seller and buyer both agree that this cat/kitten should not be neutered by ____________________, an additional payment of $1500.00 shall be immediately due and payable to the owners of Meridian Cattery. Meridian Cattery, reserves all rights in deciding if this kitten will be used for breeding purposes and any decisions deviating from this original document must be in writing and signed by both parties. The buyer of this kitten agrees that following it's neutering, the licensed veterinarian who performed the alter surgery must furnish verification of this (in writing, Vet's office invoice is acceptable) to Meridian Cattery. Included in this written verification shall be the new owner's name & address, the kitten's color, age, weight, registered name (if any), breed, date of birth, and gender. Meridian Cattery agrees to deliver the kitten's registration papers to the purchaser within 30 days of: (1) Valid notification of veterinarian altering cat or kitten, or (2) Receipt of the stated additional payment if the cat is to be used for breeding. This contract is legally binding to all parties involved. It applies only to the buyer(s) and seller in this transaction and is non-transferable to other parties. BREEDER ADDENDUM: (only applicable in the event this kitten is sold as a breeder) Buyer agrees this kitten is not to be resold as a breeder to any other party and will be neuter/spayed when it’s breeding services are no longer needed by the original buyer. Buyer agrees to retire and neuter/spay this kitten/cat no later than the age of six (6) years. Kitten/cat is to be petted out to a suitable home at that time. Buyer agrees that this kitten/cat is not to be loaned out as a breeder and must remain on the premises of the original buyer. Meridian Cattery makes no specific guarantees in regards to fertility, number and vitality of offspring or reproductive problems. Studs that have not successfully impregnated a queen by the age of 2 years can be returned to us for evaluation. If it is determined the stud is sterile, Meridian will replace the stud cat within a reasonable amount of time. Due to complications with Queens, that are beyond our control once the cat is no longer in our care, there is no guarantee whatsoever on the fertility of Queens.
